Dischidia pectinoides
An epiphytic rainforest plant native to Southeast Asia. They have a very close genetic relationship with Hoya. Produces numerous small, ornamental red flowers and is best known for its curious-looking, pouch-like modified leaves which are hollow, root-filled structures, these provide generations of ants with a completely waterproof home. Max height 3m. Partial to Full Shade. Grows best in pure sphagnum moss. Loves humidity but dislikes being water logged.
