Clematis x cartmanii Joe

Evergreen variety with sprays of large single white flowers which smother the plant from February to April. Scrambling ground cover and non clinging. Remove dead stems after flowering. Needs a very warm spot or conservatory/alpine house. Well drained, gritty, fertile soil. Shade roots from sun.
