Chaste Tree. Deciduous aromatic shrub of spreading habit. Fragrant violet flowers produced in slender racemes at the end of current years shoots in September and October. Needs a warm sheltered position in full sun and well drained soil. Excellent trained against a warm wall. Remove old flowering shoots in spring. Height 1-1½m.
