Valerian, Garden Vervain. An attractive hardy perennial plant with a long history of medicinal use. Clusters of tiny white flowers with a pink blush in early summer. Best in rich damp soil in full sun, and a lovely plant for the wild garden. 100-130cm. (Not to be confused with red valerian, Centranthus)
