(Christmas Box) Shade-loving evergreen of upright habit. Small pale pink to white very fragrant flowers from late winter to early spring. New shoots flushed attractive dark purple/pink followed by black berries. Any fertile soil, good for dry shade. Especially happy on chalk. Height 1m.
