Erect, fleshy, sword-like leaves with horizontal bands and gold edges. Long lived and tolerant but happiest in a brightly lit spot with some sun. Will tolerate shadier conditions, although growth will slow down or stop. Allow compost to start to dry in between waterings and keep much drier in winter. Min. temp. 10C.
