There are many species of Rhipsalis which grow on trees in woodland and jungles and their trailing stems make them excellent subjects for hanging pots. They need a shaded position with plentiful water in spring and summer but allow the top 1/2' of compost to dry in between waterings during winter. Mist frequently and keep above 10C. Feed throughout the year with tomato food.
