A very attractive, fast growing perennial forming a tufted clump of stunning architectural foliage. Slender compact spikes have brown bracts when flowering in the autumn. Must have moist well drained soil in full sun. Height up to 1½m. Hardy to -5.C or so, supposedly the hardest restio.
