Evergreen Oak.The only non-coniferous tree to grow to a large size by the coast. Very salt and wind resistant. Juvenile leaves are prickly. Any soil in sun or shade. Can be clipped as a hedge or grown as a large specimen. (If not clipped can grow to 20m).
