Handsome, tropical looking plants with very large, paddle-shaped leaves. Can be grown as a pot subject in a glasshouse or planted outside in summer in a sheltered, sunny border. Will only flower and fruit if given sufficient heat. Pot up regularly. Water and feed in summer, much less in winter. Min. temp. 10C. Height to 3m.
