A deciduous hybrid magnolia bred in New Zealand. Forms a round headed tree, eventually 5-6m high. Blooms in March/April, flowers have broad petals, rich pink on the outside, paler inside. Acid to neutral humus rich soil in sun or partial shade, prefers shelter from strong winds.
