Small to medium sized upright deciduous tree when young. Flowers are cup and saucer shaped, deep pink fading to cream on the inside of the tepals; 25-30cm diameter, 11 tepals. Flowers late March-early April. Good moist acid/neutral soil in sun or shade. M. campbellii alba x M. sargentiana robusta.
