Widely regarded to be amongst the best yellow flowered forms to date, rich yellow even in our coolish climate. Late flowering, in April-May, avoiding most frosts. Makes a large shrub or small tree to about 8m. Best in moist acid soil, but fairly tolerant of alkaline conditions.
