Evergreen shrub with glossy, leathery leaves. In summer has large panicles of white, fragrant flowers which are attractive to bees and butterflies. Abundance of black berries in autumn/winter. Tolerant of drought, salt and pruning so suitable for coastal planting. Grow in full sun or part shade, in well drained soil. Height and spread 3 x 2m.
