Mophead. Striking red/burgundy foliage in sun. 'Bloody Marvellous' in french. Deciduous shrub bearing large heads of mid blue to deepest rosy-crimson flowers maturing to violet purple depending on soil type. May take a little while to establish. Good coastal plant. Any moist in sun or shade. Height 120-150cm.
