Witch Hazel. Large deciduous shrub. Spreading and vigorous, extending to 3m x 4m. Strong golden yellow flowers tinted red at the base in late winter. Growth habit is upright when young, later becoming a rounded bush. Dark green foliage turns clear yellow in autumn. Best in moist acid soil with some shade.
