Snakeshead Fritillary. One of our most treasured native wild flowers. This spring flowering bulb produces nodding bells in shades of purple in an exquisite chequerboard pattern. Grow in full sun or partial shade in a moisture-retentive but well drained soil. Will seed and colonise damp meadow areas. 30 cm.
