One of the most popular houseplants for giving height and architectural effect. The trunk and stems are snake-like and topped with narrow, arching leaves of green with red striped edges. Place in a brightly lit spot out of direct sun and keep compost moist but not wet at all times. Reduce watering in winter but do not let it dry out. Mist occasionally or stand on a pebble tray.
