Citrus Australasica
Unsual citrus Caviar Lime, this is the only citrus species native to Australasia, and is drought-tolerant. Its small leaves, bushy habit and pretty white and pink flowers make it a decorative addition to the patio (though mind the spines). Long Fruits contains juice 'pearls' that look like caviar and taste of lime with a hint of grapefruit. Ideal conservatory plant. Likes a sunny, well ventilated spot and is best stood outside in summer. Overwinter above 4C.
