Highly desirable and unusual Bromeliad. The striking, blue and pink flower spikes appear in mid-summer and last until early winter. Keep away from direct sunlight and mist during summer months. Compost likes to be damp but not wet. It likes to have a small amount of fresh water in the 'vase' formed by the leaves in the centre of the plant. After flowering the the rosette which bore the flower stalk will die back.
