Dahlia Workshop SOLD OUT

Calling all Dahlia lovers- Join Elle in the cutting garden and pick your own dahlia flowers ahead of us digging them up for the close of the season. You will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the cutting garden and cut yourself not only the dahlias but anything still in bloom in the garden to make a vase worth of blooms to take home. 

While you’re in the cutting garden Elle will chat with you about all things Dahlias. From seed to bloom to; cutting, vase life, digging and dividing a tuber, winterising them by either storing them or leaving them in the ground. (bring gloves and footwear/clothing that you don’t mind getting muddy or wet)

Workshop programme:

Arrive 10am at the Nursery and meet Elle by Kangra, the elephant.

Elle will take you down to the cutting garden where the workshop begins. 

11.30am - Coffee/ cake and a chat.

1.00pm (ish) - FINISH.

About Elle:

Elle has worked at the Nursery for many years now and her passion for plants has taken her on a journey to growing cut flowers and learning all she can about blooms and how to best create with those blooms. Learning from her experiments at her allotment and growing many types of flowers, join Elle to celebrate all things floral, from seed to flower.
