Under New Mangement
A new Nursery General Manager has been appointed to support the established team at the nursery and drive forward our ambitious plans to develop improved customer facilities at the site.

Autumn Sale
We are currently having our first ever Autumn Sale, on until Sunday September 14th; we have some great bargains in perennials, shrubs, climbers, potted trees and fruit trees. Also some reduced items in the shop, a treat for yourself or great ideas for gifts.

Autumn Bulbs
In stock now we have a wide variety of Taylors Choice Bulbs; it's time to stock up on your Tulips, Crocus and Iris’s. Highly recommended is the gorgeous peony flowered and beautifully scented Tulip 'Angelique', a delicate soft pink.
We are eagerly awaiting our delivery of Daffodil bulbs from Fentongollan , grown in Cornwall, they should be with us very soon.

Stock up on seeds!
We have just received this season's delivery of flower and vegetable seeds. We have a great variety and range, growing inspiration for your garden.
It’s time to get out there and dig for victory! Have you got the ground properly prepared? Come along and select your seeds for next years crop and imagine you are already tucking into that great harvest of healthy vegetables. Never mind the credit crunch, this way you can feed yourself and your imagination at the same time!

Open Ground Season
There are not very many retail nurseries left that sell stock bare-rooted. It is in fact a concept so alien to some customers that we have to explain what we actually mean by it.

Between November and March we offer a sizable range of trees, both fruiting and ornamental, dug from the ground and sold bare-rooted, not containerised. This is a cheaper method of production and these plants represent excellent value for money. Most of this stock is too big to send out with our present carriers, though we hope to get fruit trees in the online shop by November.

For several years we have opened our tree field for a week in late September so that customers can select and reserve the trees of their choice. This year we are extending that to the whole month of September. Some open ground stock is in the sale too, so there are bargains to be had here too!

Fruit
Our bare-root fruit will be available from sometime in mid November. All of our current stock of pot fruit is on a buy one, get one free offer, to make room for new stock in a month or so. We have several local apples in pots available now; soon to be added to the website listing.

Buying by Mail Order.
It's not where it should be, but we've put a bunch of testimonials from satisfied customers into the Features section. I'll get it moved to the plant shop in time but in the meantime, if you have any reservations about buying from us it may clear up some of your concerns.

Fuchsia 'Shauna
Lindsay'. We keep
on adding new varieties, this one is a real beauty.

Leycesteria 'Golden Lantern'. One of the
